Background
A client in Tanzania contacted Weifang Tailai Steel Structure Engineering Co., Ltd. with the goal of building a modern warehouse facility that could also include an attached two-storey office space. The client operates a regional logistics company and required a multifunctional steel building that would serve both as a high-capacity storage center and the administrative headquarters.
Tailored Design and Engineering
After several rounds of communication, we fully understood the client’s land conditions, usage needs, and budget expectations. Our engineering team proposed a custom layout that combined:
- A large-span steel warehouse for efficient storage and forklift movement
- An integrated two-storey office area connected to the warehouse for easy management access
- Modern façade with optimal airflow and daylighting
- Cost-saving structure optimized for local climate conditions
Our team used PKPM and AutoCAD to prepare accurate structural calculations and installation drawings. We also created 3D concept renderings using SketchUp to help the client visualize the final building before production.
Manufacturing and Delivery
All components were manufactured in our factory with strict quality control and dimensional precision. The full package included:
- Steel columns, beams, purlins, bracing, and wall/roof frames
- Installation drawings with detailed assembly instructions
- Packed and labeled containers for easy on-site handling
The entire production was completed within 35 days and shipped according to schedule.
On-site Installation Support
Although the installation was handled by the client’s local team, our engineers provided full online technical guidance, including video instructions, layout clarifications, and real-time responses during the assembly process. The installation was completed within 6 weeks.
