This project was delivered to a client in Tanzania, East Africa, and completed by Weifang Tailai Steel Structure Engineering Co., Ltd.. The building measures 100m (length) × 60m (width) and features a double-pitched roof and two stories of steel framing. It includes several cantilevered office modules and a central skylight ventilation system. The design is practical, durable, and cost-effective — a model case of China-Africa steel structure cooperation.

2. Key Design Features

🔹 Cantilevered Office Modules

Several cantilevered office spaces are installed on both sides of the main structure. Supported by steel columns and tightly connected to the main frame, they efficiently utilize space while offering independent working areas — ideal for offices, monitoring rooms, or meeting zones.

🔹 Double-Slope Roof + Skylight

The symmetrical roof design features a central skylight ridge, offering:

• Natural daylight to reduce lighting costs
• Improved indoor ventilation and reduced humidity
• Excellent rainwater drainage, suitable for tropical climates like Tanzania

🔹 Full Steel Frame System

The structure is built with H-beam steel columns and rafters, designed to resist wind and seismic forces. The roof and wall cladding use insulated sandwich panels, offering thermal insulation, waterproofing, and long-term performance in tropical and humid conditions.
